Sencha Custom Build (ExtJs 4.0/4.1)

I cannot tell you, or express the deep frustration and anger I feel when a company who is so public, and who create such good software produces a tool to fulfill a desired task, but the documentation is near non-existent, the support lacking, and the tool itself, a piece of “junk” from the pits of hell. <rant over Sencha>

Moving along, if you want to build custom ExtJs, cause obviously the default one is too big to be used on production websites; here is the process to go about:

  1. Read This with a focus on the new MVC model as well as Sencha SDK –http://www.sencha.com/learn/getting-started-with-ext-js-4/
  2. Download the SDK (version 2 and not 1.2.3)
  3. Huge thanks to Sottilde – http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?203663-Sencha-SDK-Tools-2.0-and-ExtJS4-The-Missing-Docs (this is a must) – make sure you download the new PhantomJS file
  4. On the latter part of that forum, I posted my index-build.html, my configuration file (Layout.js) and some tips as well (especially if you using ASP.NET)

Hope that helps ya!

ExtJs Double Load

I recently starting working with ExtJS, moving away from jQuery UI Layout for a bug in their “splitter”. This was not fixed by them, despite my bug report. They did make an effort which  I appreciate. But I’m getting side-tracked. The problem I was experiencing in migrating to ExtJS was that I had an iframe that was loading in my “center” but it was loading twice.

No matter what I did, it just reloaded twice. Whether I added it with $(document).ready(). The solution was to add it to my “ExtJs” layout configuration, and success:

Revelation Chapter 5 Notes

Question:

  1. What do we believe in? Post-tribulation, Pre-tribulation Rapture?
  2. Give a verse to support? (1 Thess 5:9, 1 Thess 1:5-10)

Revelation 5:

The Redemption Plan: (v1-3)

  1. A 7 Sealed Book: A scroll (writing material made of pages, sewed together into a roll) is called a book (Ezek 2:9-10). Customary to place melted wax on the closed roll, making an impression with an official seal (sometimes a ring). This assured the privacy of material. Daniel received some of these events but was asked to seal it until the end (Daniel 12:8-9). The Seventh Seal book – is a book of God’s wrath and judgement upon the earth, and the seven seal judgements at each breaking of the seal commences from Chapter 6:1-19:21 (where the last seal is broken).
  2. Three Phase Redemption Plan of God
  • Jesus Redeemed the Soul at Calvary (1 Peter 1:18-23)
  • Jesus will redeem the body at the Rapture (1 John 3:12)
  • Jesus will redeem the earth and all creation during the time of the removal of the Seven Seals (Rom 8:18-23)
  1. Among these three, there are three laws in Scripture:

(a)The Law of Redemption Concerning a Wife

– Wife died, husband’s brother was to take his widow, so that his name would not die. But he must first be able to support the brother’s widow. Jesus with His own blood “redeemed” the Bride

(b)The Law of Redemption Concerning a Slave

– If a man lost all he had, could not pay his bills, he would be taken by his creditors as a “slave”. Adam lost all when he sinned, and became a slave to “sin”.

(c)The Law of Redemption Concerning Land

– Lev 25:23-25; if a man loses or sells his property, his “kinsman” can come to redeem the land. Adam lost that which was his, the land, the property and it was taken over by satan.

  1. Further added the qualifications for a “kins man” redeemer:
  1. He must be a “kin” (near) to the one who lost the property. He could not be a DISTANT relative, He had to be near
  2. He must be willing to act as a redeemer; not coerced, but by his own free will. It must be done with a heart of willingness and love.
  3. He must have financial backing to prove that he was able to redeem the lost possession. The Lord had all the riches in the world, but the LORD used the richest of them all, His own blood.
  1. This is why Jesus Christ alone was worthy? He is the only one that can “redeem” His Bride, He is the only one that can redeem us as “slaves”. He is the only one who can redeem the earth; Him and Him alone. Great Reference (Jeremiah 32:6-15)
  2. It is here now – that the kinsman (the Lamb) comes on the scene to “redeem” that the “land” – to take the seal, that Great Lamb of God. This is the extent of Christ’s love for His bride, this is the extent of Christ’s heart, this is the extent of our Lord’s passion.

vs. 4 – Was this book important? Of course, how important; note that “John” wept. Would he weep over just any book; no, this was the book that was going to unfold the events for the re-claiming, the redeeming of the land, to set up the Kingdom. What is scripture about?  Scripture’s height is not the fall, scriptures height is not Israel, scripture height is not the redemption of the Church; scripture is time and time again, about “whose got the Kingdom?”. Whose ruling and reigning; and right through scripture – we see the battle for the Kingdom of Heaven, the battle of the Kingdom of God; and the final battle, till Christ rules and reigns on this here earth.

vs. 5 Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Gen 48:8-10) – Judah was one of the 7 tribes and this speaks to the Redeemer being born out of the Lineage of Judah. But secondly, He is also the “Root Of David” – As God (Isaiah 11:1,10). He is both the beginning and the end. Note this is what makes Him worthy; being born in the lineage of man, though a God.

vs. 6 Is this not a picture; one can only imagine the Remembrance this brought to God the Father; as He pictured His Son, the Lamb as He was slain. Others around the throne, can only be brought to remembrance of this Great Work of Christ, but also the pain, suffering and temptation He faced in “prevailing” Truly if there was ever a great victor, if there was ever a soldier who went into battle and won the war it was our LORD Jesus. Friends, though at times, in this life we may feel defeated; never ever forget who is the VICTOR, never ever forget who is in control, and never ever forget that He is coming back soon, to Redeem His Bride. PS. Note who is centered in all the events of heaven; it is Christ!

vs. 7 Here we see Jesus claim the book out of the “right hand of him that sat upon the Throne”. Let us not be confused, both God and Christ are on the Throne. Christ is on the right hand of Father. Heb 1:1-3

vs. 8 The Vials full of Odours, are the prayer of the saints. Friend, if you want to be pleasing to the “nose” of our Lord; how much are you praying? Quotes on Prayer:

“Prayer is not getting man’s will done in heaven, but getting God’s will done on earth”.

“There is too much working before Men and too little waiting before God”.

“On His knees the believer is invincible”.

vs. 9 We remember the previous song sung in Heaven by the 4 Beasts; “Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.” (Rev 4:8) was on Christ’s Holiness. But note, when the Church (24 elders) see this, they also break out in song “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power; for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created”. Note their focus was on Christ the “Creator” (Elohim). But now the song has changed; “Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation, (vs.10) and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on earth”. This is again confirmation that the Church will be heaven, prior to the judgement that is too fall upon the earth.

vs. 11-12 Note that a third group break out, and this time it’s the Angels, and the lead everyone else into singing “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory and blessing”. Right before the Eve of God’s Wrath; comes a Procession of Recognition; of all of Heaven; for Christ. And it’s not just one sect, but everyone, everyone group – all acknowledging that Christ is “worthy”. There is no dispute here. Note their focus, is on Christ receiving the power and glory due to HIM. This world continues to mock Christ, and at this present moment, God has chosen to rule the Kingdom of Heaven (that is on earth); but at the LORDS defeat of satan and His casting of Satan into the “lake of fire” – Christ shall physically rule and reign on this EARTH. In the Kingdom that was originally His to begin with.

vs. 13 If that wasnt enough, now every Creature beings to say “Blessing and Honour, and Glory and Power, br unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. They then turn around and praise both God the Father and the Lamb. From 5:1 – refers to God the Father on the Throne, from who Jesus Christ comes and takes the 7 sealed book.

vs. 14 Its biblical to say “Amen”. Sometimes we get so stuck in our seats, our hearts bubble over, and we fail to express out excitement. The problem with that is that we have “allowed” the world, to dictate to us what Church service should be like. Perhaps it’s Christians themselves who have treated the “church service” with such reverance and formality, that the people themselves have become nothing more than the chosen frozen. If there was ever a “shadow”, a like manner to follow, is that of the Throne of Heaven; surely out of all places; where God lives, that would be the place that would best speak to how we should conduct ourselves; and yet we see different groups of people, angels and creatures; sing praises out to God, from sheer excitement; there is no one telling them you go now, as if it’s some synchronized EVENT. They just let rip! Yet we think in our seats that we are far the better, far the more privileged when we it tingles inside, and the truth is being spread abroad in our hearts, or when we get excited to not “shout” AMEN unto the LORD. Are we any better?

Revelation Chapter 4 Notes

3 Divisions of revelation:

Rev of Jesus Christ, (vision of Glorified Lord, He who was) [was], Churches, [is] Tribulation. [is to come]

3 positions:

Post-tribulation

Pre-tribulation

A-millenialism – does not exist, allegorical

Reasons we hold to Pre-Tribulation (church raptured):

1. Church mentioned 20 times. Never mentioned again prophetically (1 Thess 4:13-18)

2. Fullness of revelation of Church, given to Paul

3. The things which thou hast seen, things which are, and things which shall come to pass. They do not happen concurrently, there is a close to each. Thus a church being one is closed, done and sealed up. Compare spiritual things, scripture with scripture. Only compare things that are alike.

4. Note the timing, after this (v1).

5. Picture changes, from Lord in the middle of the candlesticks,to the Throne of God

6. 24 elders around the throne till Chapter 19

7. Two great verses: 1 Thess 5:9, 1 Thess 1:5-10

8. The type of the picture here, the casting of the crowns before the Lord

9. John is also a picture of the church, he went up in the Spirit.

– come up hither, to meet the Lord in the air

– events that happen hereafter (1Cor 15:51-53)

10. Matthew 25:2-13 – virgins

V2. Throne – many thrones, but only one Eternal throne

V3. Stones represent Gods glory and majesty.

These stones mentioned in Exo 28:17-20, on the breastplate of the High priest

The brilliance of Jasper represents the pure holiness of God. (rev 21:11) – tribe of Benjamin (first)

The red Sardus, symbolizes the blood atonement demanded for sin

– tribe of Reuben (last)

– speaks to God working with Israel and the Church.

First his holiness is seen by Israel

Second the blood atonement by Church

Emerald represents Judah, was green and spoke eternal endurance.

This was the wedding stone.

The Circle around the throne was complete, indication of the completeness of God in the trinity, but also his absolute sovereignty. Strongest shape being a circle. Wheels on our cars.

Note the color of the rainbow, green. It is the color most pleasant to the eye.

Vs. 4 24 elders are royal priesthood of believers

6-8

Lion – majesty and power, king of all the beasts (gen 49:9)

Calf or ox – humility and patience (1 cor 9:9-10)

Man – Gods creation, highest on earth, denoting wisdom, reason and intelligence (Isaiah 1:18, 1 cor 2:11)

Eagle – wisest of all birds (Job 39:27-30)

They have one ministry unlike 24 elders, they praise God.

Revelation Chapter 3

Sardis a rich and wealthy city.

At this time, we find ourselves at the time of Protestant reformation prophetically fitting in with that period of church history. Seven Spirits – Christ is the fullness. Christ hath the Seven Spirits of God. These are works of the the one Spirit, the Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 11:2) Rev 4:5 (cross reference)

Attribute of God: Empowering, enabling the work

Problem:

Though the church was alive, they were spiritually dead. The perfect picture of this was the Protestant Reformation, though empowered by God, to a work, the freedom of the bible, it bound people latter to what looked right, but what was dead. Though we may have the name of Martin Luther and such, the systems that followed from that were dead works. The great reformers died and what was left were men who took the helm to create systems instead of servants with heart for God. It became about the system of tradition as opposed to the heart. It became about one man’s formulae instead of one God as a desire. Good intentions are worthless. Sardis was a like a star, shining from when it was created, but by the time the light was received on earth it was dead. Is our lights our zeal from Christ, still old ambers of our once fiery hearts for God, or are they dead, and we’re calling ourselves Christ followers cause of what we once did, and who we think we are, from what we once did, where is our hearts for Christ now?

Second thing, is that they had stopped watching, watching for what? Watching for the precious return of the Lord Jesus. And when that is never before us, and when we have lost sight of it, we have lost the urgency of our present actions or the consequence, of meeting the Lord when our present state is corrupt. (vs. 2) Its like the kid who loves choc cookies. And his mum has just baked him some, and they are on the kitchen counter. And her last instruction to him before Dad and her leave to go to the shop, is not to eat the cookies, as that would be wrong. And she reminds him they will be back soon. If he ignores the fact they will be back soon, he will get caught out, yet if he remembers continually that they may return any moment, he keeps himself pure.

Problem with Sardis: they were alive but dead

About the Reward:

Overcome – to get the better off

Understanding it’s use: refers to those already in Jesus Christ, who believe Him (1John 5:4)

Difference between the Lambs book of life and the Book of Life. The book of life, is where you want your name to be. If its blotted out that means you have not overcome and believed on Jesus Rev 20:12-15.So this book is the book of the saved, and if blotted out will be cast into the lake of fire on the day of Judgement.

The Lambs book of life, is the book were you want your name written, Rev 21:27. The difference between the two might not be clear, but might be a reference, to a book containing those redeemed and the lambs book, of the works of the redeemed and their rewards.

Church at Philadelphia (brotherly love)

This is the church, the picture of the true church.

Attribute of God: sovereignty of God

(no matter the hand of Satan, the situation you are in, it’s controlled by God). No matter the strength of the enemy, God is greater still. No matter if the door appear closed, God can open it. If the Lord opens it, Satan cannot shut it. Ain’t that good to know.

The Key of David is mentioned in Isaiah 22:22 and Jesus has this key. Jesus is also the one who has the keys of hell and death (Rev 1:18) Jesus gave to Peter the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, but the Jews rejected.. He again used the key to unlock the keys to the Kingdom of God.

Also the Key of Knowledge – the understanding of the keys. Luke 11:52, Matthew 23:13, Mark 4:11-12, Matthew 13:11. When Jesus was to die, He handed the keys to Peter (apostles) matthew 16:19. Jesus had the keys while John the Baptist was proclaiming the Kingdom of Heaven. Despite the best efforts of the apostles, the Jews still rejected, and thus in Acts 2 we see the KoH closed until millennium and the opening of the KoG.

The difference between the two: (KoH vs KoG)

(1) one physical and one spiritual

(2) one existed through time, to the inclusion of men. The other always existed, and whose domain contains, all saved, cherubim, angels, seraphim etc.

(3) only instituted at the millennium. Instituted when someone believes on the Lord Jesus Christ.

(4) it’s a physical domain, with a king and a geographical region and size. Its heavenly and is intangible

Problem: They had a little strength, they were growing weary from their walk as Christians. But despite their weakness, God had granted them an open door, which Satan cannot close. We have an open door here at city of refuge, and it cannot be closed. We have the opportunity to minister to this community, not evangelize, and God has opened it, but be advised only God can close. That’s far worse than Satan closing the door.

Here we see again the Judaizer, bringing in the doctrine, or lie that is, the those now saved, are now converted Jews, and that Jews and the Church are one in the same.

Why is Gods word, a word of patience? Because it tries, James 1:3, the trying of your faith, worketh patience.

Men with their false doctrine, can cause us to lose rewards, to lose crowns. How can the crown be ours, accept we own it, how can we lose it,my following the doctrine of men as opposed to the doctrine of God.

Reward: if there was ever day to be faithful to Jesus, this was the hour. All things are fulfilled, the earth is groaning and traveling for the coming King.

He that believes Jesus, God will make a pillar. Think about a pillar in a building, it cannot leave, it stands there to uphold and establish the structure. So to, those that hold fast, that believe on Christ, will be these invaluable pillars, never to wander (Prone to wander, Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love)

names, think about you walking along a road, and you find a wallet. You open it up and it’s got R5000 in it. If that were possible by way of the size of a wallet and money. But if that were true, and there was no identity, you would take it. Ok, how bout you find this R5000 and well there is an identity on it, of a man named Claude. Perhaps in the world today, more often than not, that person will take the R5000. However, consider if the identity of the person, was the Son of a King, or better yet, on the wallet was the Name of the mighty and most powerful King of all, ages, and of all time, that wallet would have a certain respect to it. And you would return in it, in fear of the King. We will be these pillars on that temple, with Gods name Etched in us, and that will be our worth. Amen!!!!

The Church of Laodicea:

Attribute of God: Faithful and True

Problem with Church: the problem with the church at this point, is an inability to be faithful and to be true. A faithful witness!

Problem with the church is simple, they were luke warm. Yes they had moments of being hot, but then they had moments of being cold. But that’s not what it’s talking bout here. It was not the up down, but far worse, they though they were ok, when they were not. They thought they were serving and giving their best, but they were deceived, the were blinded by their own sin, their own inability to be faithful witnesses.

If you sitting there and think oh are a faithful witness of Christ, I ask you are you sure? Note the words in verse 17.

Note what the Lord tells them to do, to buy of me gold tried in the fire. Christ is the only one that can offer true gold, not some fake which will fade away, but gold that has been the purification process. Note these people had comforts of life, comforts of living, but they were making purchases in everything else, except in what the Lord was offering. They were not willing to pay the cost for the Lords gold, cause it required them to be faithful witness, it required them to see themselves for who they really were and it admonished them to focus on true comfort, on Jesus Christ. In this modern day and age, our comfort in the midst of the trying by fire, is everything else but Christ. Yes we may turn to him now and gain, but as a majority, we find comfort in food, in entertainment, in restaurants and comforts of this life. Do we recognize the with all we have, we are truly naked? Is there some layer that blocking our eyes from truly seeing ourselves as we should? Is our measurement others, our measurement the preacher, the world; should it not be Christ?

Reward: Overcomes is easy to misunderstand. But if we are ever confused, let us go back to the definition. Overcome, simplistically means get the better off. How as people do we get the better of this world, by believing Jesus Christ. (1 John 5:4). What’s confusing is does overcome then mean Christ believed in the crucifixion and himself. Nonsense, it means the faith which He had, the belief in He kept, His obedience into death by the instruction of the father was how he overcame.

We overcome by faith, when we believe on Christ, we too are made heirs.
